Are you surf-lunatic? Then you must need a good compatible browser for your device so that you can surf the internet as smoothly as per your choice. It is undeniable that browsers have become a necessity in today's fast-forwarding world especially when it comes to technology. A good compatible browser not only enhances the speed of your work but also gives an extra boost to your interest.
Over the past few years, many have been introduced and they have improved in their functionality and performance. Searching for a good browser? Or confused among many? Then you are in the right place. In this article, I am talking about the most-used Google Chrome. Yup, in my opinion, Chrome is the best multi-processing browser available in the market. I have used it and the reasons why I am saying so are listed below:
(1) Speed
One of the main reasons why I have decided to use Chrome is because of its speed. If you don't believe then you must try it right now on your device. Personally, I have tried loading the same website on both Chrome and Firefox. In most cases, there is nothing much of a noticeable difference in respect to speed. It is quick and very easy to use.
Chrome is an extremely fast web browser; it loads and displays pages very quickly. It gives a long list of suggestions when something is typed on the search bar. It also has a very basic, simple design making it easy to use. Unlike Firefox and Safari, you can alter the color and theme of your browser. It's really cool.
At the very onset, Chrome had one of the main drawbacks that it had no add-ons and extensions that provide flexibility to the users. However, in January 2010, Google introduced an extension gallery with 1,500 extensions.
Today the extensions reached above 11,500. Part of them includes themes that allow users to change the appearance of the browser likewise.
It is one of the finest features of Google Chrome. What I like about the Tab Browsing is that you can easily create new tabs, move them likewise, and open them in entirely new tabs. It allows you to check your most-recently visited sites. This feature really adds nicety to Chrome.
More importantly, the architecture doesn't cause the entire browser to crash in case one website gets down. Because in Chrome each tab runs independently. It means one is not affected by the others. It indeed is an amazing feature!
If you don't want Google Chrome to track your activities then this feature is absolutely ideal for you. You can browse any website privately in Incognito mode. And I assume you must be curious to know what happens in Incognito mode, right? In this mode, Chrome won't save your browsing history, cookies, and site data or information entered in forms. Files you download and bookmarks you create will be kept. However, your activities are not hidden from websites you visit, your employer, your school or your ISP.
Google introduces download scanning protection in Chrome 17. In February 2018, Google introduces an ad blocking feature based on recommendations from the Interactive Advertisement Bureau. Sites that employ invasive ads are given a 30-day warning, after which their ads will be blocked. I, too, don't prefer too much congestion on websites. They are really annoying. So if you don't want ads on your sites Chrome will be a lucrative one for you.
Chrome has its own Task Manager that shows you how much memory and CPU usage each tab and plug-in is using. You can open it by clicking Shift-Esc from within Chrome. You can get more details by clicking the "Stats for nerds" link on the Task Manager.
• Have you ever mistakenly closed a tab? But thankfully Chrome is a forgiving browser and makes it possible to get all back. Just right-click on another open tab and select"Reopen closed tab".
• If you get bored with surfing the traditional web, there are a few dozen hidden chrome pages that you can check out on your browser. Type "Chrome URL" into the Omnibox and hit the search button. It's done!
• Chrome also comes with a built-in translation application which helps translate websites in over 50 languages.
So guys, here are some basic reasons and features that prompted me to shift to Chrome. However, Chrome uses a good deal of RAM and electricity when running. Cause it is not a light browser. If you use a laptop and want to save your battery life as much as possible then I recommend you to have Firefox downloaded on your device.
What browser supports your choice? How much you are satisfied with it? Let me know via comments.
