We all know fairy tales have a part and parcel of our life, we all love to read them. In fact, in our infantry we heard about those monsters, giants, dwarfs, enchanters, princes, princesses, knights, kings and so on. These tales are called fairy tales. They are very much adorable and create a special impression on our minds by setting us free from the drudgery and stresses of daily life. These tales are not only for children but also for men and women of all ages and taste. So, here I'm presenting my first story titled"THE FORTUNATE PRINCESS" :)
Long time ago in a village called Dholakpur (imaginative place) there resided a very beautiful princess with her father in a palace. The maximum part of the palace was smothered with gold, emerald, turquoise and valuable jewels. The palace was in the heart of Dholakpur. Villages were very simple and submissive. There was a peaceful coexistence among the villagers.
In the palace everyone including the king was proud of his beautiful daughter. Since childhood the king taught her about the morality, criticality of mutual relationship, doing favors for the needy and so on and so forth. But in that happy ambiance there grew jealousy among the laities and other folks. They thought that their king was showing too much preference to her darling daughter and was screening negligence towards them. So often they would entangle themselves into machinations to snuff out the king and drive away his daughter. But whenever they acted in apropos their plans to kill the king, they got thwarted by some occurrences or due to their foolishness. So every plan of killing the king failed.
. Weeks turned into months and months turned into years. One night the king's lieutenant proposed the king to arrange for a banquet to every body's pleasure. The lieutenant was the king's most faithful and submissive one, so the king could not help accepting his proposal.
Arrangements were done orderly and nobody knew except that jealous laities that it was tricky ruse to kill the king. The king was very happy as his favorite all items had been cooked. But unluckily he was little aware of the fact that someone added a strong poison to his nectar.
Dinner was up. Every one was satisfied for their filling meal. The king finished off his meal and bade good night and staggered down to his chamber to sleep.
Morning broke over the hilltops and the stars were about to hide themselves. Birds took to singing on branches and the first sun rays stroke against the turrets of the edifice and made it look charming and golden.
But all of a sudden this beautiful morning was marred by the horrible discovery of the murder of the king. The king laid stiff on his bed, with a sword in the hands rested on his chest, froth came out of his mouth and eyes turned upside down and he looked convulsive and pale. His daughter sat beside him and burst into tears. Her father was the only hope in her life, the only dear one. Everybody around offered condolence to the poor princess. Soon the king was entombed with heavy heart and other funeral ceremonies were done by his daughter.
Now as the rule, the princess must be the heir of the throne. But she failed to ascend her father's throne because the king's assassins forced her away out of the kingdom. The others basked in the prosperity of the huge wealth of the kingdom. The princess was now alone and was not accustomed to the adversities and difficulties outside. Gradually she started to lose her beauty and was starving greatly. Her exquisitely embroidered dress went soiled and tattered, hair became tousled and unkempt, she wobbled down the roads.
Some days passed in this way. Then the miracle happens. She met a prince who was her father's old friend's only son. On the way he recognized the princess and took her with immense care and love on his arms and brought her to palace. She was betrothed in her childhood with the same. It took several years to restore her moribund health. Finally when the princess came round the prince proposed to her to marry him and asked if she wanted to be his life partner. The princess along with an amorous smile on her face accepted the proposal readily.
. Afterwards they got married and lived happily ever after:)
